Air Canada has announced new, non-stop seasonal flights between Montreal and Amsterdam for this summer. Flights will operate five-times weekly with the airline's Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, and link to and from Air Canada's North American network at its Montreal global hub.

Air Transat will offer a non-stop service between Montreal and Lyon next winter, becoming the only airline to operate this route year-round. In winter 2023-2024, this route will operate three days a week from Montreal on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Ottawa has announced $75.9M in funding to ensure the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) has resources to tackle its backlog of passenger rights complaints. The funding will be delivered over three years, starting in 2023-24. “It’s clear that more resources are needed," Transport Minister Omar Alghabra told media at a press conference on Tuesday (March 14).
