Mandatory mask policy for air travel has become “increasingly unenforceable,” says WestJet

Responding to reports that Canada will drop its vaccine mandate at the border and make ArriveCAN optional, WestJet's VP of external affairs, Andy Gibbons, said the carrier is "strongly in support of the removal of all remaining outdated measures." But Ottawa's mandatory mask policy for air travel must also go, he said, as it has become a “source of disruption" in the air.
