For the first time since October 2019, WestJet flights between Nova Scotia and Europe are taking flight again as the airline restarted international service to Dublin and London from Halifax on Sunday (May 1). The airline will also resume service to Glasgow on Monday (May 2) and Paris on Saturday (May 7).

Swoop launched its inaugural flight to Charlottetown Airport (YYG) from Hamilton International Airport (YHM) on Sunday (May 1). In the coming weeks, the ultra-low-cost carrier will add service to Moncton and Saint John, NB and Deer Lake and St. John's, NL, as well as add frequencies on existing routes to Halifax.

The majority of “non-compliant” passengers who partied maskless on board a Sunwing charter flight from Montreal to Cancun in late December 2021 have received penalties, Transport Canada announced Thursday (April 28). The department has issued 42 penalties to 37 of the 154 passengers, totalling $59,500 in fines.
