This promotion provides the multiplication by 20 of the reward points awarded to travel agents for each booking. Consumers will also receive a free first class upgrade (a value of $250 per person) if they book before July 31, 2021.

The Grand Tour of Switzerland by train brings together all the must-sees of Switzerland in a single journey. This 8-day itinerary is an invitation to discover the different regions of Switzerland and its cultures.

Customers' smiles

"If your customers want to travel in an eco-responsible way, put Switzerland on their dream list and take advantage of our TravelBrands agent awards and our promotion on the Swiss Travel Pass at a 25% discount," says Pascal Prinz, Director of Switzerland Tourism for Canada.

He adds that if customers book the popular "one country - one pass" before July 31, they enjoy a flexible travel period of 11 months after purchase (instead of 6 months, normally).

"Observe the smiling faces of your customers by giving them the opportunity to travel without limits on public transport and free access to 500 museums and 30 castles," says Pascal Prinz.

Why Canadians will love Switzerland

On June 26, Switzerland reopened its country's borders to fully vaccinated Canadian travellers. Canadians who are able to prove that they have received both doses of the vaccine for at least 15 days can travel to Switzerland without having to quarantine or a PCR test.

Switzerland Tourism also mentioned that Air Canada and SWISS are resuming flights and increasing their frequency from Toronto and Montreal to Zurich and Geneva – three and four flights per week.

The aim of Switzerland Tourism's new campaign is to demonstrate why Canadians will love Switzerland if they make it their first choice of transatlantic travel. The campaign is a collaboration with Vancouver photographer Callum Snape.

Highlights include "the most beautiful adventures to offer in terms of hiking and cycling as well as exploring boutique cities, swimming in turquoise water lakes and discovering the four linguistic regions of the country", describes Switzerland Tourism.
