The Tourist Office of Spain in Toronto will be going on strike Monday (Oct. 16), part of a larger general strike by the Federation of Public Workers Abroad.
The job action is a continuation of a previous strike in June, in which the federation cited the fact that while the salaries of the employees of the Tourist Office of Spain have been frozen for almost a decade, officials of the Government of Spain, such as ambassadors, have seen their salaries increase this year.
