Discounts & events during Myrtle Beach's Can-Am Days, March 11-19

Myrtle Beach's 62nd Annual Can-Am Days, happening this March 11-19, is fast approaching and visiting Canadians can expect some great discounts and special events. 

The popular event is promoted by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the City of Myrtle Beach. 

“Myrtle Beach has long been considered a second home for so many Canadians and it has been great to see them return over the last few months. During the upcoming Can-Am Days, we want to especially express our happiness to host them and provide them with our warm hospitality once again,” stated Karen Riordan, MBACC and CVB President and CEO.

Among the events happening during Can-Am Days, the chamber will hold a Welcome Reception on March 13 from 1-3 p.m. within the lobby of its visitors center at 1200 N. Oak Street in Myrtle Beach.

On March 14, the chamber and Ripley’s Aquarium will host a Can-Am Party on the Plaza at Broadway at the Beach with music and entertainment from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Canadians can request the CAA (Canadian Automobile Association) discount on tickets to Ripley’s Aquarium for a $2 savings.

On March 16, The Hangout in Myrtle Beach will hold a Lunch Bingo event from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and provide a 10 per cent discount throughout the day with a Canadian ID.

While Can-Am Days runs from March 11-19, many discounts will be available well beyond the celebratory week and can be redeemed through select valid dates. 

Coupons are not needed to receive the discount. However, some deals have specific stipulations, such as proof of a valid Canadian ID.

• Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark: Book a stay of 7 nights or longer and receive up to 55 percent off + free unlimited use of the Crown Reef Waterpark. Valid through Oct 15, 2023.
• Forest Dunes Resort: Book a stay of 7 nights or longer and receive up to 44 per cent off. Valid through Oct 15, 2023.
• Landmark Resort: Book a stay of 7 nights or longer and receive up to 48 per cent off. Valid through Oct 15, 2023.
• Ocean Creek Resort: Book a stay of 7 nights or longer and receive up to 55 per cent off. Valid through Oct 15, 2023.
• Vacation Myrtle Beach Resorts: Book a stay of 7 nights or longer and receive up to 55 per cent off. Valid through Oct 14, 2023.
