The Florida Keys & Key West have announced an exciting and engaging resource called the Key Lime Academy, to help travel agents become more knowledgeable on the destination.
Key Lime Academy is a web-based, video-learning platform that provides travel professionals with the education necessary to become certified Florida Keys destination specialists.
Key Lime Academy uses seven video-driven modules to educate participants on Keys properties, attractions and history. Each module is followed by an eight- to 10-question quiz presented in multiplechoice format.
A resource for agents
"Key Lime Academy is an excellent resource for travel agents as it provides an in-depth guide to the Florida Keys & Key West," said Stacey Mitchell, director of marketing for the destination. "The program uses video-driven modules to educate participants on how to create the ideal itinerary for their clients including Keys properties, attractions, history and more."
The process takes about 30 minutes and can be done either incrementally or in a single sitting. When the user has completed the entire e-learning series and passed all quizzes with a grade of 80 per cent or better an electronic certificate is issued.
