Globus & Avalon offering new experiences in Portugal

Globus and Avalon will debut new tours in Portugal in 2024.

With Globus, one new itinerary is Taste of Portugal (11 days from Porto to Lisbon), along with two new extensions in Madeira (known as the "Garden of the Atlantic") and the Azores (the “Hawaii of the Atlantic”)

Avalon will also make its Portugal debut in 2024 with its new Suite Ship, the Avalon Alegria.

The Alegria – like the rest of the company’s fleet – will feature signature, Panorama Suites on two full decks.

This new Suite Ship will also have a pool on the Sky Deck. Built exclusively to sail the Douro, when the Alegria makes her debut in March 2024, she will have a total of 14 Deluxe Staterooms and 37 Panorama Suites, accommodating just 102 guests and 33 crew.

New to the schedule is Vida Portugal: Vineyards & Villages Along the Douro. (eight days from Porto to Porto).
