Contiki has just revealed three brand new trips in two new destinations: Namibia and Botswana, in its Africa 2020-21 program.
Contiki’s new and improved Africa product for 2020-21 include unique ‘Special Stays’. The two new itineraries feature unique treehouse and private safari camp accommodation, additional departure dates and new local and authentic community experiences.
All Africa adventures guarantee awesome social vibes as they are all Small Groups, with no more than 30 like-minded travellers aged 18-35. Tailored to Africa, transportation is included, from internal flights to get from point A to B quickly to open-top safari vehicles for game drives and 4x4’s for cruising the salt flats. Trip managers and local guides will be available to guests to assist with the trip details.
Supporting ethical travel
Contiki’s complete Africa product offering delivers a variety of real, local and unique experiences on every trip, with a number of ethical experiences aligned with its sustainability commitment through Contiki Cares, powered by TreadRight.
The new included and optional ethical experiences include a new Protrack Anti-poaching Centre experience (including a donation to the Centre) near Kruger, visit to Ju/’Hoansi Living Museum Indigenous Village in Namibia, a Township tour & School visit (including a donation to the school) in Cape Town, Magic Beans community youth theatre dinner & show in Botswana, and Shanga community project visit supporting disabled community members in Tanzania.
