
Following news in May that ConnectWorldwide Canada was awarded the contract to serve as the official tourism representative agency for Las Vegas Convention and Visitor’s Authority in the Canadian market, company President Charmaine Singh has announced the team dedicated to the account, which includes Afra Davis, David Han and Marsha Mowers.
Han is the dedicated representative in Eastern Canada and Ontario. He has worked with ConnectWorldwide Canada office since 2012, working on accounts such as San Francisco Travel, Choose Chicago and Scottsdale Conventions & Visitors Bureau. Prior to joining CWW, Han worked with the US Commercial Services where he was responsible for logistics and event planning for key industry events that include the Discover America Day Reception.
Davis is the LVCVA Canada’s Western Representative, operating out of Vancouver, B.C. She brings more than 15 years of sales and customer service experience, most recently with WestJet Vacations. Davis was a part of the start-up team at WestJet Vacations. Prior to her career at there, she held positions at Meridian Holidays, Infinity Holidays, and Cathay Pacific
Finally, Mowers is the trade public relations representative, bringing more than 15 years communications experience in travel, corporate, sports and entertainment PR. She previously worked with Singh on the NYC&Company, The Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT), The Greater Houston Visitors and Convention Bureau (GHVCB) & San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau (SFCVB) accounts. Mowers has also worked for Citytv in Toronto, St Joseph Media (WeddingBells and Canadian Family magazines) and Molson Canadian Hockey House at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
