Club Med is enriching its travel agent rewards program for 2015, as a way of giving back to its key partners.
The company will launch the Club Med challenges in the near future, in which travel agents will get a chance to win free nights or other rewards.
For 2015, the company is also increasing the number of FAM trips for the coming year, allowing agents to learn more about Club Med’s various resort destinations.
The Free Nights Program rewards each sale made by the agency. For every amount of $6,000 sold in stay and services for clients that travelled during the Nov. 1, 2013 and Oct. 31, 2014 reference period, the agency earns one Free Night. In addition, each travel agent can also take advantage of special rates and at the resort, enjoy a VIP welcome and dedicated privileges, including reductions on additional services, free WiFi and late check-out.
There are six levels of the Travel Agencies Rewards Program, determined by the gross sales (BV) with Club Med (for clients that travelled during the Nov. 1 and Oct. 31 reference period of last year) over a 12-month period. Each category benefits from a specific commission rate and rewards; as an example, agencies that have sold more than $100,000 between Nov. 1 2013 and Oct. 31, 2014 will earn 15 per cent commission, but also additional advantages offered to this category “more than $100,000.”
