Bernard Côté named director of marketing, PR & social media at Transat

Transat A.T. Inc. has announced the appointment of Bernard Côté as director of marketing, public relations and social media. 

With 15 years of experience in communications and marketing, Bernard has worked for several high-profile companies, including Reebok, RDS and MEC.

A graduate of Northwestern University in Illinois, he has developed a solid expertise in public relations, media relations, crisis management and branding over the years. 

Until recently, he was vice-president at Ketchum Canada, a communications and public relations agency for clients such as Qatar Airways. 

"We are delighted to welcome Bernard to the Transat team. His experience, expertise and rigour will complement a dynamic organization that is among the most ambitious in the Canadian tourism industry," said Xavier Szwengler, Transat’s vice-president. marketing and international sales.

In his new role, Côté will oversee all of Transat's marketing public relations and social media activities to support the company's strategic vision in both domestic and international markets.
