Air Canada Vacations launches more ePackage destinations

Air Canada Vacations (ACV) is enhancing its shopping tool for packages to popular sun destinations. 

Canadians can now take advantage of lowest available fares to Bermuda, Belize, San Juan (Puerto Rico), Fort-de-France, Martinique, Grand Cayman, Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, Saint Vincent, St. Kitts, Port of Spain, Kingston (Jamaica), Mexico City and Monterrey (Mexico), according to a press release issued Tuesday (Aug. 1). 

"At Air Canada Vacations our objective has always been, and will continue to be, to provide our travel partners with new tools and technology advancements that make supporting our mutual customers that much easier,” said Nino Montagnese, vice-president, Air Canada Vacations. "With more choices at their fingertips, it’s easier than ever to plan their perfect getaway and create the magical moments they’ve been longing for.”

Launched three years ago, ACV's tool is designed to provide travel agents with flexible bookings options that allows for the search of flight and hotel options across Air Canada’s route network, which also includes Canada, the United States, Asia, South Pacific, South America, and Europe. 

In addition, ACV offers one free checked bag per person on all ePackage bookings.

With the enhanced ePackages tool, travel agents will earn their regular package commission amount on the land portion of the booking. 

Agents will also receive 300 ACV&ME points per room on ePackage bookings. The ePackages shopping tool is easily accessible to travel agents in SIREV, Sabre Vacations and Galileo Vacations. Simply look for the tour operator code VAE.
