Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, Collette’s president and chief customer experience officer, has announced the promotion of Willie Montano to the role of vice president of global marketing for the tour operator, after a year of "incredible growth and a successful brand refresh" driven by marketing campaigns under Montano’s leadership.

“This past year has been such a key time in our company’s history and Willie has done a tremendous job leading the global marketing operations organization in a way that truly reflects Collette’s values and culture,” said Leibl-Cote. “Since joining our team in 2022, he has brought so much value, collaborating with every area of the business to develop a ‘metrics-first’ marketing department culture.”

In his new role, Montano will oversee global marketing, including production, and marketing in the U.S., Canada, and Australia, where Collette operates.

He will continue to align to the strategic plan and company goals, supporting all creative, product, and sales activities to maintain Collette’s trajectory of hyper-growth, the company says.

Montano brings over 20 years of travel industry marketing experience to his new role. Prior to joining Collette, Montano worked as vice president of marketing for The Travel Corporation's Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold USA. Before that, he was vice president of marketing at CIE Tours USA.

“I am excited for this next step in my career at Collette. I love being part of such a creative, dynamic, and collaborative team,” Montano said. “Collette has such a great reputation in the travel industry and we have so many exciting things ahead.”
