VIDEO: "Thank you so much for your support," says Sophie Raymond of Velas Resorts

Sophie Raymond, regional sales manager for Canada at Velas Resorts, is sharing words of support for Canada's travel trade in a new video released to PAX. 

In the video, Raymond thanks and congratulates travel agents "for all the efforts and work you've been doing over the past weeks with your clients and with us." 

"Thank you so much for your support," she says. 

In the video, which was recorded a couple of weeks ago, Raymond says Velas Resorts' are closed and will re-open in May (that has since changed to June). 

In the meantime, the luxury brand is promoting Better Together, a campaign whereby the staff at Velas' hotels share fun activities that guests can do at home while they wait for this period to end. 

"Hopefully I'll be seeing you soon,"  Raymond says. "Please stay healthy and stay safe with your loved ones."
