TravelBrands has just hired Michael Sette as BDM, responsible for overseeing the company's partnerships in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Eastern Ontario.

We believe Michael’s proven track record of success makes him the natural fit to help develop the business with our wonderful retail partners in his assigned Ontario market.”
Sette's career in travel brings a unique understanding of both the retail and wholesale industry. His journey in the travel industry began volunteering at Sears Travel. From there, Sette was hired full-time, working his way up to travel sales manager, where he managed three different branches over his 14 years with the company.
In his personal life, Sette is an avid traveller, having visited destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, the U.S. and Europe.
"I’m most excited about getting out on the road to visit my agents and to start building great, long lasting relationships with them," Sette told PAX in an interview. "At TravelBrands we have so much to offer and my plan is to ensure that all agents are aware of that and are effectively utilizing all our tools and products to make their jobs easier."
Regarding his role with agents, Sette will ultimately be responsible for conducting sales calls and agent trainings.
"My hope is to obtain their feedback and to discover and implement ways to help them succeed," Sette explained. "Building strong partnerships with all my agencies is a priority. Yes, I will be out on the trade show floor with my sales team and look forward to meeting all of my industry colleagues."
