TravelBrands has promoted former BDM Shannon Smith to the position of director of sales, Ontario.
As a respected character in the travel community, Smith brings 19 years of experience and a wide range of expertise to this role.

Role & responsibilities
Smith’s extensive history in the travel industry brings a unique understanding of both the retail and wholesale industry. Her out-of-the-box thinking has strengthened TravelBrands’ relationships with both partners and agents.
As director of sales, Ontario, Smith will oversee the business development managers, a variety of agency chains and consortiums as well as the agency partnerships located within Ontario.
Smith's travel career began in 2000 when she worked as a cultural rep at Epcot for the Walt Disney World Company. Since then she has had many different roles at a variety of organizations including Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Encore Cruises and now TravelBrands.
Her personal and professional life has brought her to many destinations globally such as the Caribbean, Europe, Australia and North America.
