Shannon Smith promoted to SVP, sales, marketing & operations at TravelOnly

Shannon Smith has been appointed to senior vice-president of sales, marketing and operations at TravelOnly, PAX has learned.

“As our company continues to grow, we are eager to see Shannon's extensive industry knowledge propel TravelOnly to new heights,” said Gregory Luciani, president and CEO of TravelOnly, in a statement to PAX. “With a decade of experience in both the retail and wholesale supplier sectors, and more than 20 years of industry experience, Shannon possesses a unique perspective that will undoubtedly contribute to TravelOnly's unrivaled position as a key player in the Canadian market.”

Smith, formally a director of sales at TravelBrands, joined TravelOnly at a critical time – in May of 2021, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a director of training.

The following year, in April of 2022, she was promoted to vice-president of training, overseeing product, business planning and marketing sessions, as well as development webinars for TravelOnly’s advisors.

In her new role, Smith will oversee all aspects of TravelOnly’s business, with a prominent focus on sales and marketing initiatives to get more money into the pockets of the network’s advisors.
