What is your speciality? Destination weddings, family travel, leisure groups

What do you love most about being a travel agent?  

Doing what I love most every single day. Travelling is generally a joyous activity. There's no better "job" than making people happy. I also get to make my own hours and work around my families' schedule, allowing me to be there for my children at all times.

What's one travel trend you've noticed as of late?  

The trends are always changing!  There is no constant with travel. My clients always want to explore new destinations.  The majority of my bookings may be all-inclusives one year, Europe the next, followed by cruises, and so on. They do seem to come in waves though. I've had a recent surplus in Orlando (Disney and Universal) bookings, which is always so much fun!

Of all the bookings you’ve made, which itinerary and/or travel package are you most proud of? 

All of my weddings! It's like reliving my own destination wedding planning experience. I love working with the couples and getting to know their families. I truly create a bond with each and every one of them. The best part is when they send me photos after the big day. I always have a huge smile on my face (and sometimes a happy tear in my eye) when I get to see the couple in love on their wedding day. 

What's your number one piece of advice to other travel agents?  

Love what you do. If you are able to do your work with a smile on your face, your clients will feel it. They will appreciate all you do for them and refer you to their friends and family. Your business will continue to grow and your hard work will pay off. Keep smiling, and your clients will too!
