Mireille Moutou joins The Fives as director of business development, Canada

Mireille Moutou, former director of business development for Quebec and the Maritimes, Karisma Hotels, has joined The Fives Hotels & Residences as director of business development for Canada, effective Dec. 2, PAX has learned.

On June 25, 2019, Moutou, alongside the rest of Karisma's Canadian sales team, were laid off unexpectedly.

Heading into next year, The Fives has plenty of exciting things on the horizon, including the brand's newest and third venture into Mexico, Oceanfront, which opens June 2020.

"I can't wait to be back in the field and catch up with the people I missed a lot in the last five months," Moutou told PAX. "Of course, my territory will be big because it will be all of Canada now. But, it's a very nice challenge and I'm really looking forward to it, because this job, for me, is not a job. It's a passion!"
