Jason Baer named director of sales & marketing at Hyatt Regency Maui

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa has announced the appointment of Jason Baer as director of sales and marketing. 

With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, he will oversee sales and marketing efforts to continue the success of the Hyatt Regency Maui.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jason to our leadership team as the Director of Sales & Marketing,” said Fred Findlen, general manager at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. “We look forward to seeing how his skills, expertise and leadership style will elevate the property as we continue to create new and heightened guest experiences to provide an unforgettable vacation or business trip.”

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is located on 40 tropically landscaped oceanfront acres along a three-mile stretch of the famed Ka’anapali Beach.

Prior to joining the resort, Jason worked with various Hyatt properties throughout the West Coast in a variety of sales leadership positions. 

Baer has served as the director of sales and marketing at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa and held leadership roles at Grand Hyatt San Diego, Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa and Hyatt Regency San Francisco.

Baer studied at California State University-Long Beach where he earned bachelor’s degrees in business management and supply chain operations management. 

Prior to his transition into the hospitality industry, Baer worked in real estate and helped coach summer volleyball programs for kids. In his free time, Baer enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing golf, beach volleyball and pickleball.
