FCM’s Meeting and Events division has announced two appointments within the North America region.
Monica Boundy has been promoted to director of event Operations and Hayley Ketchum joins the business as director of sales and account management.
Originally from Australia, Monica began her career with Flight Centre Travel Group in 2016 when she moved to New York to join the FCM sales team with the ultimate objective of being involved in event operations. I
n 2019, she made the transition to the operations team as event director playing a key role on many large accounts.
“Throughout her time in operations, Monica has incorporated her sales and customer relations skills to manage multiple challenging situations,” said Kate McMahon, business leader, meetings and events North America. “During the pandemic, she was one of many leaders who stepped up and helped pivot our business creating new service offerings, rolling out new processes and focusing on de-risking the business through challenging covid situations.”
Hayley joins the FCM M&E team as the new leader of sales and account management.
Based in Florida, Hayley brings with her extensive experience working in catering sales and convention sales with multiple hotels. Most recently, she spent the last decade with EMC Meetings and Events as events manager on their operations team. In that role, she was involved in complex registrations, cvent Meeting Request Forms and website builds for global clients.
She has an undergraduate degree in journalism/public relations is currently completing her MBA.
