Emma Madsen joins TRAVELSAVERS CANADA as dir. of business development for B.C.

Emma Madsen has joined TRAVELSAVERS CANADA as a director of business development, PAX has learned.

Madsen will oversee strategic acquisition and services for British Columbia, advancing TRAVELSAVERS CANADA’s mission of driving more business with agency affiliates in that province.

Madsen’s career as a business development manager in the travel industry began in her early twenties. She was the first individual hired at Sunwing Vacations in Western Canada back in 2006.

Then, three years later, she moved to the Jamaica Tourist Board, where she received the “Favourite Supplier Representative award” at the 2022 Baxter Agents’ Choice Awards.

“Emma has gained exceptional experience, diversity and recognition in the industry as a highly regarded travel professional,” said Jane Clementino, senior vice-president and general manager at TRAVELSAVERS CANADA. “Emma’s industry expertise will be instrumental in driving the company’s continued growth and success for our agency partners in western Canada.”

Madsen will work closely with TRAVELSAVERS CANADA’s owners and advisors to support their business objectives and help accelerate preferred supplier sales.

“She brings unmatched customer service skills and understands the individual needs of each agency to deliver best-in-class expertise,” TRAVELSAVERS said. “Madsen has worked with a variety of organizations and clients, giving her a unique perspective and extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the travel industry.”

As an avid traveller and adventure seeker, Madsen has both heart and passion for her work.
