Dianne Jackson named director, franchise & affiliate members at TDC

Dianne Jackson has been named director, franchise and affiliate members at Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), according to a company memo that was shared Tuesday (Aug. 29).

Jackson will officially begin her role on Sept. 11, 2023, and she will report to Karine Gagnon, general manager at TDC.

In her role, Jackson will be responsible for the success and growth of the TDC Network's franchise and affiliate travel agency program for all provinces except Quebec, Gagnon wrote in her update.

She will also be responsible for the renewal and recruitment process of new franchises and affiliates, as well as maintaining strong business relationships with TDC members and key players in the industry.

Jackson is a seasoned senior leader with more than 30 years in the Canadian travel industry, with experience in many verticals, including tour operations, retail travel agency, travel insurance, and travel technology. 

She has held leadership roles with various organizations including CAA Travel, Red Label, Allianz Global Assistance and Signature Vacations. 

As well as previously owning a travel agency, she co-owned a chain of Bargain Centers as a franchisee. She most recently owned and lead Reps4Rent, a company offering a range of services through a network of independent sales professionals.
