Justin Gosling joins leadership at Discover the World as director Canada

Justin Gosling has joined the leadership team of Discover the World as director Canada, taking over the position previously held by Jane Clementino, who has moved on to become senior vice-president and general manager Canada for TRAVELSAVERS. 

He brings over 30 years of experience as an accomplished commercial leader in the travel and leisure industry.

Prior to his recent appointment at Discover the World, Gosling was the Canadian Director for SkyBird Travel and Tours, Canada country manager for Alitalia, regional manager for Etihad Airways in Canada, Great Britain, Scotland and the Seychelles Islands and USA Director of leisure sales for Lufthansa.

“This is an exciting time of change and expansion for Discover as the industry bounces back from the pandemic. Justin is a great addition to the team. Along with his understanding of the global market, he brings a creative vision, longstanding relationships and passion that is in line with the goals that Discover has for its future," said Discover the World CEO Ian Murray.

Justin has earned a reputation within the industry for his skill at evaluating options, generating solutions in sales and marketing, leveraging partnership opportunities and his grasp of various international markets.

I am delighted with the unique opportunity to lead the Canadian team to further build on the impressive successes of my predecessors," Gosling said. 

On Clementino's recent departure from the company, Murray added: “On behalf of Discover the World we would also like to thank Jane Clementino for her positive and progressive contributions to the business, locally and globally especially during an extremely challenging period in the travel industry."
