Blue Diamond Resorts has announced the opening of Starfish Cayo Guillermo in the Jardines del Rey archipelago of Cuba

The 296-room all-inclusive resort, with updated rooms and renovated amenities, joins the portfolio of 21 hotels that Blue Diamond Resorts operates on the island. 

“We are excited to welcome Starfish Cayo Guillermo to the Blue Diamond Resorts family and offer our unique service standards and updated amenities to guests of this popular hotel,” said Mohamad Fawzi, managing director, Blue Diamond Resorts Cuba.

The property opening was delayed from its original intended opening date of December 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lush gardens, pristine shores

Nestled on the pristine shores of Cayo Guillermo, Starfish Cayo Guillermo is surrounded by lush gardens and open-air spaces providing a peaceful atmosphere for guests of all ages to enjoy a relaxing escape. 

With recently renovated common areas, four restaurants including an international open buffet and three bars, Starfish Cayo Guillermo has features to suit every vacation style.

From relaxing on the immaculate beach to enjoying water sports such as kitesurfing at Cayo Guillermo International Kite Center located next door and visiting nearby dive sites, Cayo Guillermo affords visitors an abundance of fun in the Jardines del Rey archipelago of northern Cuba.
