“Our vision for the Sandals Royal Curaçao experience was inspired just as much by the island’s natural beauty and colourful culture, as it was by our guests and the many ways they can engage with this amazing destination,” said Adam Stewart, Sandals Resorts Executive Chairman.

According to Steward, this resort is a true labor of love years in the making with his father and the late founder of SRI, Gordon “Butch” Stewart, at the helm.

He explained that it’s a testament to the transformative power of tourism through new-style experiences that don’t just raise the bar for all-inclusive vacations but celebrate people and local culture at every stage.

A coveted location

The Sandals Royal Curaçao is located in the exclusive area of 3000 acres of Santa Barbara, just 15 miles from Curaçao International Airport.

Its iconic location, facing west, on the southernmost part of the island, integrates nature into the resort experience, while capturing one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Caribbean.

Sandals shares that couples can experience the beauty and geographical diversity of Curaçao, known for its adventurous terrain, pristine beaches, limestone caves, spectacular diving sites, and dynamic capital, Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

An all-new island, all-new ‘Sandals Firsts’

Guests at Sandals Royal Curaçao can enjoy many of the first benefits of Sandals – including a two-level Dos Awa Infinity pool with spectacular views of Spanish Water and the rugged mountain landscape beyond.

In terms of accommodation, the property’s 351 rooms and suites offer a wide range of options, from Melemele Walkout suites (meaning affectionate) to Sunchi Beachfront suites (meaning kiss), to entirely new room categories, such as the Kurason Island Poolside Butler Bungalows and the Awa Seaside Butler Bungalows, which represent the ultimate in luxury.

The top-level suites include a complimentary MINI Cooper to explore the island beyond the property, to better see, taste, and feel Curaçao.

All new dining concepts, plus ‘island inclusive’ dining unlocked

Sandals Royal Curaçao also offers new catering concepts. On property, eleven culinary concepts are offered, including eight restaurants – seven of which are brand new and only available at this resort. Sandals Royal Curaçao also hosts three gourmet beachfront food trucks and 13 bars.

To further immerse guests in the island’s unique flavours, Sandals Royal Curaçao also offers the brand’s first off-site catering program. Island Inclusive offers all-inclusive dining options at eight partner restaurants in Curaçao.

Valid for stays of at least seven nights, the program is reserved for guests who have booked a Butler Suite and members of Sandals Select Reward (Diamond, Pearl, Ambassadors Club levels). This program offers a US$250 voucher for dinner at one of the eight partner restaurants, with round-trip transportation included.
