Meliá Hotels International Cuba will begin offering free Wi-Fi on all of its properties on the island in time for the winter 2020-2021 season.
The development is part of the hotel's ongoing renovations and developments.
In recent years, Meliá has been aiming for the digitization of its processes and services. The facilitation of online management for guests experiences has become a top priority within the new health context, the brand said.
Complimentary Wi-Fi has already been implemented at Paradisus resorts, as well as at Meliá Buenavista, Meliá International Varadero, Meliá Habana and Meliá Cohiba, and will be extended to all Meliá properties in Cuba.
The company calls it a "solid step and an incentive for the new modalities" introduced by the company this year such as its Work from Cuba and Long Stay programs.
