Grown-ups have a new place to relax as Kimpton Key West’s Ridley House has re-opened as an adults-only boutique hotel.

Representing Kimpton’s first-ever property catering to guests aged 21 and up, the 23-room hotel, once a private estate for a 19th-century industrialist, offers on-site experiences like yoga, barre classes, poolside spirit tastings, monthly Tarot card readings, blackjack games, and more.

Some of the poolside food and beverage offerings include alcohol-laced popsicles, a menu of cocktails and mocktails and key lime bites.

The rooms are spread across three historic, conch-style homes that feature bohemian touches, such as “lush” private porches.

Ridley House, formerly known as Cypress House, is nestled between a row of historic homes with tropical gardens and southern charm, and is one of five hotels in the Kimpton Key West collection, which also includes Winslow's Bungalows, the Lighthouse Hotel, Ella's Cottages and the Fitch Lodge.

The hotel is located in Key West’s Old Town, a block from lively Duval Street, giving guests easy access to the destination’s water activities and nightlife.

It is also just over a kilometre away from the historic Ernest Hemingway House.
