In just over a month, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts will officially open Iberostar Holguín, its first five-star hotel in the Cuban province of Holguín.
The hotel’s Nov. 15 opening date adds to Iberostar’s portfolio in Cuba while the chain celebrates its 25th anniversary on the island.

The Iberostar Holguín comprises 12 low-rise buildings that house 638 rooms, six restaurants and four swimming pools. The new hotel also offers the Star Prestige service, an adults-only area with a wide range of premium amenities, including the best rooms, access to exclusive area, and special services. At the Iberostar Holguín, guests opting for the Star Prestige experience can also relax on a sun terrace furnished with Bali beds, dine in an exclusive restaurant, and enjoy drinks in the open bar lounge.
Guests at the Iberostar Holguín will enjoy a wide range of healthy dishes created by the hotel’s chefs, featuring international and local dishes with touches of African and Spanish culinary traditions. Asian cuisine is another of the gastronomy options available at the Iberostar Holguín, which boasts six restaurants and nine bars, guaranteeing dining options to suit all tastes.
