
In response to the "continuing uncertainty caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19)," Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has updated its cancellation policy as follows in response to the outbreak:
- For bookings made before 3/5/2020 to travel up to 4/30/2020 (last check-in date) no fees will apply for changes or cancelations made.
- For "no shows," the hotel will continue to charge penalty as per contract. A no show considers any reservation that is not cancelled before midnight (12:00 a.m.) of the day of arrival.
The company also reminds its customers of its flexible policy already in place:
- For bookings made between 3/13/2020 and 3/31/2020 (included) to travel up to 10/31/2020 (last check in date) no fees will apply for changes or cancelations.
- For no shows, penalty will be charged as per contract. (A no show is considered any reservation that is not cancelled before midnight (12:00 a.m.) of the day of arrival.)
All Bahia Principe resorts adhere to health and safety guidelines that also includes country-specific laws while "we assure that additional training and guidance on COVID-19 are supplementing such procedures in line with our high standards," the company stated.
