Disney recently announced that next fall, a new bar inspired by Beauty and the Beast will be added to Disney's all-inclusive Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Formerly known as Mizner's Lounge and Commander Porter's Lounge, this completely redecorated living room will feature four unique spaces inspired by the beloved Disney classic.
The following features will be added to the new lounge area:
- The signature bar, lit by a magnificent gold chandelier, inspired by Belle's golden yellow ball gown;
- A library decorated with French furniture and Baroque motifs, with allusions to the Beast's friends;
- A more whimsical space with the garden lounge inspired by the enchanted forest surrounding the Castle of the Beast;
- An outdoor patio that evokes the romanticism of the garden terrace of the Beast.
Even more magic
The magic continues this summer at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, as the property will also open a new Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique this summer, the third of its kind at Walt Disney World.
These shops, already present at the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Springs, are enchanting beauty salons that let children between the ages of three and 12 years old transform into princesses or knights.
A variety of transformations are thus available and can include hairstyle, nail polish, dresses, accessories and more, depending on the package chosen.
