Royal Caribbean International’s Adventure of the Seas will kick off a summer season this June at a homeport in Nassau, Bahamas, offering seven-night cruise getaways to Cozumel, Mexico and a sampling of popular Bahamian ports, including a two-day stay to enjoy the Thrills & Chills of Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Adventure of the Seas’ season will run from June 12 to Aug. 28, Royal Caribbean announced on Friday (March 19). Booking will be open to all markets starting March 24, 2021, which is subject to change.
The cruise line says that vaccines will be required for all crew and any guest 18 years of age or older. Guests under 18 years of age will be required to present negative COVID-19 test results.
A health visa will also be required for entry into the Bahamas, the cost of which will absorbed by the guest initially. However, upon boarding, an onboard credit will be loaded to each guest’s onboard account to assist in funding.
The required documents will include a valid passport, a health visa, negative PCR Test Results and proof of Covid-19 vaccine (which must indicate that the full cycle of required dose(s) was administered at least 14 days prior to the sail date).
With that, Adventure of the Seas’ 2021 Europe season (and fall transatlantic sailing) from June 5 to Oct. 14 has been cancelled. A variety of compensation options are being offered to impacted guests.
