Mariah Carey to sign on for Caesars Palace residency: report

According to reports, singer Mariah Carey is negotiating a multi-million dollar Las Vegas residency with Caesars Palace.

A story in the New York Post states that the deal could net the singer more than $30 million and that shows could begin prior to the 2015 holiday season.

Prior performers to hold residencies at Caesars include Celine Dion, Elton John, Cher and Shania Twain.
