
The search continues for passengers aboard Air Asia Flight QZ 8501, which crashed Dec. 28 while flying from Surabaya, Indonesia to Singapore.
The aircraft, an Airbus A320-200, was carrying 155 passengers on board when it lost contact with air traffic control. A search-and-rescue operation commenced the following day, with debris found in the Karimata Strait (between the islands of Sumatra and Borneo).
As of Jan. 5, the remains of 37 passengers have been recovered from the crash site, with 13 of those passengers identified.
