Adios, muchachas!

While many of us are left to suffer through the first real bout of Canadian winter, PAXnews.com's Dayna Myles has packed her bags and is jet setting off to Mexico with Transat Holidays.

She'll be landing in Huatulco later today, where she'll spend seven days exploring the area in conjunction with Puerto Escondido.

Today's forecast? Partly cloudy and a high of 30 degrees.

Accommodations include Las Brisas Huatulco, Hotel Santa Fe and Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa.

Throughout the adventure, Dayna will be trying her hand at a Mexican blanket workshop, sipping on local mezcal, exploring Pochutla, Mazunte and Puerto Angel, and taking in archaeological sites.
