Puerto Vallarta will host its 10th annual Vallarta-Nayarit Gastronomica this month as it continues to celebrate its centennial.
The four-day event, taking place from Oct. 14-18, will welcome more than 48 international chefs, eight of which are Michelin-awarded.
The food-focused festival will include cooking demonstrations, classes and a trade exhibition at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, and private gala dinners including one that will celebrate the career of Mexican chef Susana Palazuelos.
In addition to participating international chefs, Puerto Vallarta will be well represented by Chef Raúl Altamirano and Chef Santiago Pérez, Hotel Sheraton; Chef Memo Wulff, Rest. Barrio Bistro, Chef Alex Gómez, Jardín Nebulosa and Chef Joel Ornelas, Rest. Tintoque, all of whom will betaking part in special classes or hosting events for participants.
