Disney will close all of its theme parks and suspend sailings by Disney Cruise Line ships through the end of the month, days after COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization.
The announcement was made last night (March 12) after a temporary closure announced for Disneyland in Anaheim was soon expanded to the company’s parks worldwide and Disney Cruise Line, which will suspend all departures as of tomorrow (March 14). Orlando’s Walt Disney World Resort will close March 16 and Disneyland Paris will close March 15.
A previously-announced closure for Tokyo Disneyland was extended until early April.
