"For the second time this year, I am pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement in principle with CUPE 4070," said Ed Sims, President and CEO of WestJet.

This agreement follows the one announced earlier this year by WestJet with members of its own cabin crew (also represented by CUPE 4070). This five-year agreement was brought into force retroactively – from March 1, 2021, to December 31, 2025, inclusively.
