Guatemalan carrier TAG Airlines is now being represented by AirlinePros Canada Inc., which has been appointed to oversee BSP Coordination in Canada effective immediately.
TAG has opted for mass e-plating (general concurrence) so that all fully IATA registered travel organizations in Canada may start issuing tickets on TAG e-stock without further delay. TAG can be booked in all major GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre and Apollo.
At this time, TAG is progressively introducing credit card acceptance(VI/MC) forms of payment at this time via GDS systems here in Canada. This is in addition to standard cash transactions.
Agents may claim three per cent commission POS on TAG operated flights with TAG published fares.
“Central America not only is a growing region for FIT and tourism related travel but ongoing bi-lateral business activities,” said Karl Müller, Canada Director of AirlinePros. The fact that Canada hosts a large immigrant diaspora from Central America will be of special interests to those that require ongoing regional connections once arriving in that region. TAG Guatemala operates a growing route network that is appealing, along with offering accessible published airfares.
“TAG maintains a diversified route network that connects Guatemala with various destination in Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico and Belize. We look forward to supporting TAG Guatemala in reaching their market objectives.”
