Sunwing extends flight suspension until July 29
Pax Global Media

Due to ongoing travel restrictions, Sunwing is extending its temporary suspension of flights until July 29, 2021, according to a notice posted to the company's website

Sunwing's suspension of southbound flights was previously set to expire on June 23. On April 1, the tour operator also announced that it was suspending domestic flights to and from British Columbia and Newfoundland.

Canadian carriers have been extending their suspensions on a monthly basis ever since January’s announcement that saw Sunwing, Transat, WestJet and Air Canada, in a joint agreement with the Canadian government, ground all flights to Mexico and the Caribbean
