PAL Airlines has just announced the addition of 11 new destinations to its network, increasing its offer from 20 to 31 destinations in Eastern Canada.
The regional carrier will also serve new destinations, namely Val-d'Or, Baie-Comeau, Gaspé and the Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
And starting in August, PAL will offer direct service between Montreal and Bathurst, New Brunswick.
“In addition, we will offer new services in the Maritime provinces, including flights between Fredericton and Ottawa and Moncton-Ottawa, these flights will continue to St Johns,” says Louis Gosselin, Sales Director of PAL Airlines.
Towards post-pandemic recovery
The director recalls that PAL Airlines is a well-established regional air carrier, with more than 40 years of experience in passenger air transport services in eastern Canada and in Quebec.
“We understand that giving people the ability to move between regions reliably and efficiently is essential to ensure speedy post-pandemic recovery,” said Gosselin. “We are presenting our new schedule with this in mind, taking advantage of our flexibility to respond quickly to market demand while ensuring connectivity for our passengers."
By tabling this new schedule, PAL is committed to working collaboratively with national carriers and other industry partners - "to build sustainable air services that meet the needs of the communities we serve," says Mr. Gosselin.
PAL's sales manager mentions that travel agents can book company flights in GDS or directly on PAL's travel agent booking site. He also recalls that PAL pays a commission to travel agencies.
