Major delays, cancellations expected at YYZ

As a result of last night's heavy snowfall, the Toronto Pearson International Airport is reminding travellers to check the status of their flights, as major delays and flight cancellations are possible.

As of this morning, there were 537 total departures, 3.54 per cent cancelled departures, 540 arrivals, and 5.93 per cent cancelled arrivals

Air Canada delays 

Air Canada has also taken to Twitter to post real-time updates on affected flights being operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz.

All-day alerts as a result of snow are currently in effect for:

  • Fredericton (YFC)
  • Goose Bay (YYR)
  • Hartford (BDL)
  • Montreal (YUL)
  • New York (EWR)
  • New York (LGA)
  • Ottawa (YOW)
  • Philadelphia (PHL)
  • Terrace (YXT)
  • Toronto (YYZ)
  • Washington (BWI)
  • Washington (DCA)
  • Washington (IAD)
