On public health advice, Transport Canada is extending the notice restricting all direct commercial and private passenger flights to Canada from India for an additional 30 days (until August 21).
Transport Canada has also extended the requirement for pre-departure COVID-19 testing from a third country for passengers travelling to Canada from India by indirect route.
As a result, passengers travelling from India to Canada by indirect route will still be required to be tested for COVID-19 prior to their departure from a third country other than India to continue their journey to Canada.
The Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) does not apply to cargo-only operations, medical transfers, or military flights.
