Duncan Bureau has left Air Canada Rouge, one year following his appointment as president of the leisure carrier.
Air Canada spokesperson Peter Fitzpatrick confirmed Bureau's departure to PAX but could provide no additional details at this time.
While an announcement is yet to be made regarding Bureau’s replacement, Air Canada's Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer Michael Rousseau will serve as acting president for Rouge.
Prior to Air Canada Rouge, Bureau served as the vice president of global sales with Air Canada since June 2014. Before that, he worked with competitor airline WestJet from 2002 until 2012, where he served as vice president, sales and airline partnerships.
More to come.
