After an eight-week campaign, Contiki has chosen a winning story in its #ContikiLegends project, which received the Hollywood treatment from Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer.
Earlier this summer, the company asked its travellers, from its founding in 1962 to the present day, to share how their travels with Contiki in their youth changed their view of the world. The winning entry, presented by Dormer in a new video on Contiki's web site, retells a story of a young blind woman who leads her fellow travellers through the streets of Rome, finding their way back to the hotel simply by using her other senses.
Several other entries were given a creative treatment by artists from around the world.
The video is now up at www.contiki.com/legends, along with all of the traveller tales that have been shared as part of the campaign.
In other Contiki news, the company’s Toronto team is partnering with junk removal service 1-800-RID-OF-IT in a clean-up event of the Humber River on Sept. 15.
