Previously in beta testing, the brand new app promises to deliver a heightened experience for both Apple iOS and Android devices. The new app features enhanced performance, and by removing unnecessary steps, Air Canada was able to fine-tune the speed, and enhance its overall performance, providing both Apple iOS and Android device users a seamless, inflight experience.

Here's a look at what's been added to the Air Canada mobile app:

  • Turn by turn airport navigation, available in Toronto (YYZ), Montreal (YUL), and Vancouver (YVR) to start
  • The ability to book flights, access your mobile boarding pass, receive notifications about reservation changes
  • Stream movies, TV shows, music, and more with the Rouge Player
