Wanna fly like a VIP sports superstar?
Air Canada is introducing its Air Canada Jetz aircraft starting on June 1st, offering select flights between Toronto and Ottawa and Montreal.
"While our favourite pro sports teams are on hiatus, we’re putting forward these special flights for our customers to enjoy," Christa Poole, senior manager, media and public relations, said in a statement.
The spacious cabin configuration has 58 seats and provides more comfort and personal space with a recliner seat with a 42-49-inch pitch.
The new service is part of Air Canada's ongoing efforts to "engage our customers and bring forth new and innovative ideas," Poole said.
On board Wi-Fi is available on board for purchase and passengers will receive two complimentary checked bags.
These planes also provide less waiting time for both boarding and deplaning - flights will be departing from prime gate locations and begin boarding only 25 minutes before departure.
This is one of many new initiatives introduced by Air Canada in recent weeks. It follows the introduction of Air Canada's CleanCare+ program, which offers passengers end-to-end health and safety measures and greater peace of mind during all stages of travel.
