Air Canada Vacations was named ‘Most Improved Tour Operator in Canada’ at the 10th annual Connect Barbados’ Minister Awards, presented earlier this month in Bridgetown, Barbados.
The award was voted upon by the island’s hotels in recognition of tour operators from Canada, the U.K., France, Brazil and the Netherlands. Diana Rodriguez, Product Director, English Caribbean and North America, and Angela Barroso, Manager, Product Development, collected the award on behalf of Air Canada Vacations, which counts 31 resorts in its Barbados portfolio.
The Minister Awards were presented during the 10th annual Connect Barbados conference, held from Sept. 3 to 6 and drawing almost 100 delegates from around the world.
This is the second prestigious Caribbean accolade of the summer for Air Canada Vacations, following a similar recognition at the Saint Lucia North American Showcase in July.
Currently, Air Canada rouge operates daily non-stop flights from Toronto to Barbados. As of Oct. 1, the route will once again be serviced by Air Canada. Non-stop flights from Montreal, three times per week, launch on Dec.20.
