Trevello has announced a new technology platform, called “Trevello Connex,” which is designed to streamline operations, enhance the customer experience, and boost sales for its network of advisors.
As shared in a press release on Wednesday (May 3), the new platform offers personalized attributes that simplifes the booking process, payment administration, and commission reconciliation process.
“We are on top of the moon about Connex Platform, it is a game changer for our advisors and the industry, we are always looking for ways to make the mandate processes for our advisors more efficient and less time consuming,” stated Zeina Gedeon, Trevello’s CEO.
Strengthening connections
The news was announced at Trevello’s national conference, “Connex,” which is currently at Breathless Soul Cancun resort.
This year’s event, which runs until May 5, is focused on strengthening human connections.
“Connex stands for Connection,” Shefali Nair, Trevello’s marketing managing, explained in a statement to PAX. “We believe that meaningful human connections are the foundation of successful business relationships. As such, we have decided to dedicate this year's annual conference to exploring and strengthening the connections between advisors and our supplier partners.”
“We have more opportunities during the conference for one-on-one meetings and several events that allows for lots of opportunities for advisors and suppliers to get to know each other.”
And through an agenda of workshops, presentations and breakout sessions, attendees will explore a range of topics, including how to building positive and strong relationships in a post-COVID era.
Unpacking Trevello Connex, the new tech platform, has also been a major talking point.
“Connex will make it easier for advisors to collaborate and create amazing travel experiences that exceed their clients' expectations,” Nair said.
The platform's intuitive interface, payment administration, and commission reconciliation process will save time and increase efficiency, “allowing advisors to focus on what they do best: delivering outstanding service and memorable experiences,” Nair said.
“By using Connex, advisors will have the tools and support they need to succeed in today's competitive travel industry,” Nair said.
Trevello Launchpad
A new initiative, called “Trevello Launchpad,” was also launched.
“This comprehensive training program is designed specifically for new advisors entering the industry, providing them with all the necessary education and tools to launch their career successfully and help them on their journey toward success,” Nair said.
Launchpad combines online courses, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions to offer a complete learning experience tailored to the individual needs of each advisor.
Experienced coaches provide guidance on topics such as customer service, sales, marketing, and more, helping new advisors build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the travel industry.
“By completing the Launchpad program, new advisors will have a competitive edge in the industry, equipped with the knowledge and tools to provide excellent customer service, create customized travel itineraries, and market themselves effectively to attract new clients,” Nair said.
“We are committed to investing in the future of the travel industry by nurturing the next generation of talent and providing them with the resources they need to thrive.”
And, like most conferences, there has been ample opportunities to network.
“We value the importance of fostering meaningful connections and believe that enjoyable experiences are a great way to bring people together,” Nair said. “To facilitate this, we have curated a diverse range of fun activities and networking events to provide our attendees with ample opportunities to unwind, build relationships, and have a memorable time.”
Learn & connect
The event began over the weekend with an exciting cocktail night featuring roller-skating performers, fireworks, and water drummers.
The conference, which is hosting around 200 people, also featured Teresa Vozza, an executive coach and motivational speaker, who delivered an inspiring speech on "Resilience for High Performers."
Her strategies for building resilience can be applied to the travel industry, where the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and stay motivated is essential.
What is the team's advice to conference attendees?
“Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn and connect,” Nair said.
The conference offers a unique opportunity to network with other industry pros, attend informative sessions, and gain insights into the latest industry trends and technologies.
“To make the most out of their time, we recommend that agents plan ahead and prioritize which sessions and events are most relevant to their interests and goals,” Nair said. “We also encourage them to take advantage of the many networking opportunities available throughout the conference, such as the cocktail evening and other fun activities planned for attendees.”
“By actively participating and engaging with other attendees, advisors can expand their professional network and gain valuable insights and knowledge that they can apply to their business. Our goal is to help advisors leave the conference feeling inspired, energized, and equipped with the tools and connections they need to succeed in the travel industry.”
